Jimmy Alva is a catalyst for new project work at D.L. Meacham. It all begins with a comprehensive and accurate estimate to ensure quality construction and client satisfaction. As Chief Estimator, he oversees the Estimating Department and keeps up with bidding opportunities from developers, landscape architects and civil engineers. He enjoys learning about projects at the very beginning, asking questions and identifying components that require special attention so he can evaluate ways to deliver the job efficiently.

Jimmy became intrigued with hardscape construction following college and wanted to be part of a growing family-owned company that built beautiful spaces. He contributes to making our clients’ dreams real through his attention to detail and determining construction methods that bring the project to life cost effectively.

In his spare time, Jimmy enjoys being with his wife and three children and perfecting the art of grilling. You can find him debating muscle cars with his son, learning to speak Korean with one daughter, discussing the meaning of life with another, and talking to his wife about future ministry work.
